The
English Springer Spaniel´s 1. OPTION 1. Attendance of one dog show of a higher type which is taking place in Czech Republic with the result mininally Very Good at the age of minimally 12 months.
2. Any kind of working tests for english hunting spaniels regarding to CMKU or FCI working tests rules. Quality of nose, flushing and behaving after the gunshot has to be judged. If the marks are granted, minimum limit mark of these events have to be: nose – 3, flushing – 3, behaving after the gunshot – 3. 3. Size at the withers according to breed standard recorded in the dog´s pedigree. The size record might be made by the breeding advisor. 4. Full scissors bite (i.e. 6 incisors in both jaws), absence of M3 and two other tooth from the P and M group is tolerated. One of partners has to be of full bite when used for breeding. If the size measurment and bite control is not a part of show judgment, record might be made by every judge of VIII. group with the ESS aprobation. 5. HD score at worst D/D, the dog with D/D score has to be mated to A/A, A/B, B/A or B/B dog. HD score tests have to be accomplished at the certified veterinary, member of KVL CR (Czech Veterinary Chamber). . 6. Fucosidosis – all dogs newly used for breeding have to be tested of to be after both clear parents. A carrier has to be mated to clear dog only. Test have to be accomplished in the certified laboratory.

An imported dog ca be used for breeding if it fulfilled the country of its origin conditions. Its use for breeding is conditioned by an observance of valid Rules of animal welfare, The International Breeding Rules of FCI, Registration Rule of CMKU and The KASS appendix to the Registration Rule of CMKU. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

has to give a evidence of it with parents certificate. If the
certificate is not available, informations about tests results stated on
Czech or foreign club webpages are valid. Clinical eye testing: - Dog used for breeding should have eyes clinically tested – tests should be not older then 12 months and result should be „free“.

- We recommend to all breeders to test their dogs genetically for PRA CORD1. Breeders should avoid to mate two carrier dogs.
